The ELECTHIV Project which
stands for the (European Level Evaluation
of Complementary Techniques in HIV)
the 5-year long European Commission (EC) Europe-wide
project funded for £1 million, looking at which
treatments people with HIV/AIDS are accessing throughout
Europe, was presented at The
International AIDS Conference in Barcelona, July
2002.
In representing the UK in this project,
Positively Healthy (POSH) attracted the attention and
interest of Dr. Xiang, head of the Traditional Medicines
Division of The World Health Organisation (WHO) with
whom we are currently exploring joint working with a
view to investigating with full scientific rigour the
use of Traditional Medicine from indigenous cultures
globally.
On the right are the abstracts that were
presented and were accepted as posters.
